Connect MCP to Claude

  1. 01 Go to Claude https://claude.ai/customize/connectors
  2. 02 Click "Add"
  3. 03 Enter Axi as Name
  4. 04 Enter https://mcp.axi.com/mcp as URL
  5. 05 Continue with default options & click on "Connect"
  6. 06 Log In to your Axi Account & Approve the connection
  7. 07 Start using MCP
  8. 08 Done. Claude will reconnect automatically on future visits using your saved session

FAQ

It is a secure link between your Axi MT5 account and Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant. Once connected, you can ask Claude about your account and place or manage trades in plain English — no coding or extra software needed. Currently supported for MT5 accounts only.
No. Custom connectors work on Claude's Free plan as well as Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise. Free users can add one custom connector, so Axi can be that connector at no cost. You'd only need a paid plan if you want to run Axi alongside other custom connectors.
The main draw is trading from within a chat — you can open, close, or modify positions and place pending orders just by describing what you want. You can also:
  • Check balance, equity, free margin, and open P&L
  • Review your trade history, win rate, and average holding time
  • Pull live quotes, spreads, and historical candles for any instrument you trade
  • Ask Claude to explain what you're seeing or sanity-check an idea before you act
In Claude, go to Settings -> Connectors -> Add custom connector, paste the Axi MCP URL, and sign in with your Axi credentials to authorise it. Takes about a minute.
Yes. Your Axi login isn't shared with Claude, the connection is encrypted, and any trade or order action needs your explicit approval in the chat before it goes through. You can disconnect anytime from Claude or Axi.
No. Claude can summarise data and help you think, but it isn't a licensed advisor and its responses aren't recommendations. All trading decisions and risk remain yours.
